Tutorial: Warcraft 2 Mage Tower

I've just finished designing (using my sketchup components ) a Warcraft 2 Mage Tower. It's 33 high (slightly higher than the top of the flag on the Scout Tower), and fits into a 27x27 block area. I drew it using smooth stone, half-stone blocks, lava, and blue wool; you can substitute any color you choose (though I'd recommend using something that has a fire-proof equivalent - the lava coming from the sphere up top might ignite the whole thing otherwise) to match your scout/cannon towers as well.

Currently, it uses something like 22 stacks of smooth stone, 184 wool of your favorite color (assuming the ball up top can have lava that close and not burn), 71 half-stone slabs, 1 lava-bucket, and 5 non-flammible matching color blocks to put inside the ball around the lava to keep the thing from burning down.

The download from the 3d warehouse is here, and I haven't made a schematic yet. The pixel plan follows (right click and save-as; then open in your favorite image editing program to view accurately):

The blue on the plan should be colored wool or your favorite colorful block; except where the red block touches it; then it should be your favorite matching fireproof block. The red is mostly a lava-fall; the red block closest to the top layer is the lava source. The block above it should be fireproof too, it's also shown blue. White is anything you like; I drew it with the intent that it'd be smooth stone. Half and double-half stone blocks are the gray in the first few layers to make a stairway up to the main platform.

The plan starts with the ground-level at the bottom of the image.
